Good News!
The Column felt that a ‘Good News’ section
was an important part of the web site. All around us we hear bad news,
depressing news and horrible news. We’ve got lots of thoughts on that
sort of news, but we’ll deal with it on the Bad News page.
This section is good
news and we’re going to fill this part with all the good things going on
in Devonport, stories of good, honest and trustworthy Local People, good things
about our children, and generally good, bright and cheerful things about the
good people of Devonport and Plymouth. And there are many of them. They just
don’t seem to get a shout in the local media, or on local radio and TV.
